Title Holding Trust Forum > trying to buy neighbors property; but he hates me

i'm trying to buy the property next door, but my neighbor hates me. he will not sell to me. can i use the title trust to buy it so he dosn't know that i'm the buyer?

Hi Jim,

I am so sorry. I complete over looked this post. Yes, absolutely, you can use the Title Holding Trust do address this problem.

You can set-up a "dry" Title Holding Trust (Land Trust). This means that the Title Holding Trust is set-up without any assets (properties) held in the Trust.

The Title Holding Trust would then make the offer to buy your neighbors property under the name of the Trust. Your neighbor would have no idea that you are the actual buyer.

You would then acquire the property through the Title Holding Trust - and problem solved.
