What do you do if you had your money with Landamerica 1031 exchange? Is there anybody out there that also had money in a 1031 with Land America? I would love to talk with other people you were with Landamerica...

i have money in Land America 1031 exchange and i assume that there will be a class action lawsuit. i would like to be made aware of any lawsuits against the Land America. I would also like to know what type of attorney is best suited to deal with this problem. I do understand that this must be litigated in Richmond court.

How can I find enough of LAND America's 1031 clients to try to put together a class action lawsuit with the people that all have the same problem as I do? or LAND America 's 1031 employees to try and find enough of there clients? anyone have any Ideas? How can these people do this and then sell the other companys and make a ton of money.

My husband and I have a land america 1031 exchange fund and have searched relentlessly for answers. We have signed papers to purchase our even exchange home and now cannot transfer the funds-if they even still exist. If anyone has a good reference for a lawyer in Richmond that deals with this please post.

we are also pursuing a "joint venture" to hire a first-class Richmond Creditor's Rights atty. If you need details, give me a holler.

we also have a LandAm 1031 deal which is stuck in this mess also.

P.S.

Word-to-the-Wise:

watch what you post here (or anywhere).

the lawyers from LandAm + LandAm1031 are patrolling the web. anything and everything you say WILL be used against you.

be smart. talk to only people you know.

To whom it may concern,
My husband and I transfered funds in Land America 1031 on Nov. 14th. 10days later we got a nasty gram from Land America informing us that they were gone. No longer ours but theirs. Did they work for this money?? Did they crawl under trucks for a living like my husband or in my case work holidays, nights, and weekends. We don't have college educations or trust funds. Our gift is we know how to work hard. But now I wonder if that was a gift or a curse.

We have filed a class action against LandAmerica. If you would like to be part of the class please let me know.

Or if you would like to follow the status of this class action please view our website: hbsb.com
